Our Policy




  • A standard grooming appointment could take up to 3 hours (drop off only) as Loving Hearts Grooming is an ONE-ON-ONE Salon and like to allow all furry friends rest times.

  • North Carolina law requires all dogs to have a rabies vaccine to be groomed.

  • You will be required to bring proof of all updated shot records provided by your vet to your first appointment.

  • It is the owner’s responsibility to email/text/bring them to us. We can’t provide this service.
  •  
  • Price range over the phone is offered over the phone based on breed. A FIRM price will be provided at the time of drop off, as this will allow us to properly assess your pet coat.

  • We honor the means of unforeseen circumstances may arise, therefore a 24 HOUR cancellation/reschedule will be required or a $25.00 charge will be charged from the payment method on file.

  • Loving Hearts Grooming could refuse grooming if EXTREME MATTING is present and will be determine at the time of appointment.

  • Comfort over vanity will always come first and we will not brush out an extremely matted dog. It is inhumane and can be painful for your pet. Minimum amount of matting would be an additional fee ranging from $10-$25.

  • We will attempt first to use muzzle technique if your pet shows signs of aggression and will ask owner to pick up pet if aggression continues. Loving Hearts Grooming has the right to discontinue service moving forward.

  • We will send any dog home that shows signs of potentially injuring himself while being kenneled or gated in a crate-free area. This may include chewing the metal grate or attempting to eat the plastic cage tray and/or name tags.

  • We want each pet to have a full Spa Day, he/she deserves, so PLEASE be on time to your appointment! If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment and/or charge a late fee.

  • We love old dogs! But we will always choose comfort over grooming your pet. If your pet is unable to stand, we will do what we can, but cannot guarantee the most beautiful haircut. We will always try our best.

  • Loving Hearts Grooming will ask that pets with active FLEAs be picked up by owner IMMEDIATELY.
